PRESS RELEASE: FreeNorwich Debate
June 16, 2010
FreeNorwich.com is hosting a debate for the Second Congressional Republican Candidates on Wednesday June 16, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Three Rivers Community College in Norwich CT. The debate will feature Doug Dubitsky of Chaplin, Daria Novak of Madison. Janet Peckinpaugh from Essex has withrawn. Lee Elci of WXLM radio in New London will serve as the moderator.
The format for the debate was described by some of the campaign staff as interesting, will feature questions sent in by readers of FreeNorwich.com and is completely issues oriented. The candidates will have 2 minutes to answer the questions and have 5 one minute rebuttal cards that they may use to challenge any other candidates position. There will be an audience participation question and answer session following the structured debate.
Last minute attempts to gain Peckinpaugh’s appearance were unsuccessful.

Very well done debate gentlemen!
1Hey Ray
Was it filmed and available to the public or a transcript perhaps. I couldn’t attend. Last minute prepping for vacation!! Thanks. I am anxious to see the comment from those that attended.
Thanks FreeNorwich!!!!
2I saw at least two cameras present. I don’t know if they were private or that of a news agency. The moderator did say he would attempt to play the debate in it’s entirety later this week.
3Thanks
